Symbol counting for electrical projects is now automatic.
birzone counts the sockets, switches, luminaires and panels on your power and low-voltage sheets. You check and approve.
What does it count?
Sockets
Earthed, child-safe, weatherproof; single and double.
Switches
Single, two-way, intermediate, push-button timer.
Luminaires
Recessed, surface-mounted, linear, emergency lighting.
Panels
Main distribution, apartment and floor boards.
Data / TV / telephone
Low-voltage outlets as separate items.
Detectors
Smoke, heat and gas detectors.
It reads the text next to it, too.
Notes near a symbol, such as “2x16A”, “WP / weatherproof” or “TV”, are read. If the same symbol appears with different specs, it's suggested as a separate item; you decide.

A priced schedule in the Ministry format.
A unit-price item is suggested for each cluster; search by item number and change it as needed. The Excel output goes straight into your bill of quantities and approximate cost estimate.

Pick one instance and save it as a template; birzone then looks for the same symbol on every sheet.
For now, the electrical module focuses on symbol counting. Route lengths are on our roadmap.
They're separated using layer and legend data; anything that can't be separated comes to your review.
